Welcome to the Future of Giving: Supportive Communities

Digital tokens have the ability to store data that protects artists and engages supporters.

If you’re going to build for the future, you better act like it already is.

A first of its kind giving platform deserves a cutting edge launch party and we have some exciting news to share in 2023.

Albiet mainstream understanding of the Non Fungible Token (NFT) economy is still in its infancy, its already making its mark in the social impact world. NFT’s for cause - also known as philanthopic NFT’s or PNFT’s, are increasingly finding a receptive market particularly when the cause has a passionate following, a historically strong existing donor base and is well organized and promoted.

In our case, PNFT’s were a perfect fit. Priding ourselves on a giving platform that is “a blockchained closed circuit of direct impact” for our communities, was per se attractive to those who understand the potential power of philanthopic open source accountability. In this world every donor is a stakeholder, well informed and transparently invested. Unlike other giving platforms that sometimes requires dubious fiscal trust in the person or organization making the plea, the blockchain makes every dollar accountable and transparently trackable through the Hero Bridge communities we host for nonprofits and the resource partners who serve them.

In other words, the current supporters of Hero Give naturally “get” the trust capital created by blockchain, and these supporters also make up the large majority of those investing in NFT’s. No explanation required.

Of course and as always Hero Bridge seeks to lead the pack - so we came up with an elegant NFT strategy that exponentially increases the impact of the purchase. It’s simple: Half the raise will go directly to the 2022 Hero Give Hackathon that will build our blockchain giving platform and integration with Hero Bridge communities. Each dollar of the other half will go right to work and be encrypted into this process blockchain and made available to the nonprofit community organizations. Our beta currency for our communities “Heros” will be the life blood of sustainability and accountability toward better outcomes for former foster, veterans and formely incarcerated persons.

So not only will the winner be the proud owner of unique art, but will also be able to enjoy the evidence of lives touched within our communities for years to come. More news to come in January 2022, with our first mint on March 11, 2022. For more information contact Frank Connelly at frank@herobridgeLA.org
